What I’m reading
I love reading just as much as I love writing stories.
My latest obsession is any book set in a library or bookstore—usually with some hidden secret to discover. I’ll read fantasy (The Library of the Unwritten blew my mind), romance, mystery, historical. Some of my favs are shown here.
I’m still on the lookout for more stories about books, although it may be time to shelve this obsession and pick a new theme.

Scoundrels and saints vie for female trucker’s soul in new book
Gilbert, AZ—Redemption Press announces the release of Terri McAdoo’s newest Christian fiction, Tattooed Woman at the Well. The book tells the story of Bleu Yarbro, a thirty-two-year-old tattooed female truck driver on a quest for revenge against the man who maimed her.
Bleu’s truck-driving grandpa always said she was smart, capable, and destined for great things, but at the moment, pain, anger, and injustice fuel Bleu’s destiny. Even the armor of ink that covers her body for protection and the irises she cultivates on a Jersey City rooftop cannot calm the demons of her past and present. When unexpected allies introduce Bleu to the power of forgiveness, she must navigate an unfamiliar journey that tests her resilience and faith.
Tattooed Woman at the Well delves into complex themes that highlight the importance of finding the right family of community. Terri McAdoo’s novel is expected to attract a diverse readership, from Christian fiction enthusiasts to fans of character-driven suspense and stories of personal transformation.
Will Bleu’s quest for revenge lead her down a path to destruction, or will she discover the healing power of forgiveness? If Bleu can break her bad habits, turn down her temper, and open herself up to God’s plan for her life, she might discover that her grandpa’s words were true: She really is a smart, capable woman destined for great things.
Tattooed Woman at the Well will be available Oct. 14 (eBook) and Oct. 28 (print) for purchase at major retailers and online.
